The Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown convened its Regular Club Meeting on 14th June 2026 at Hotel Cinderella, Siliguri. The meeting commenced with the National Anthem, followed by the President’s welcome address. Key agenda items included confirmation of previous minutes, Secretary’s and Treasurer’s reports, updates on Aahar Seva and ongoing service projects, and a presentation by Incoming President Rtn. Pradeep Khemka outlining the vision and plans for R.Y. 2026–27. Under the inspiring 2025–26 theme “Unite for Good,” the evening will begin with the President Rtn Sanjay Goyal Jr calling the meeting to order, followed by the National Anthem and confirmation of minutes by Secretary Rtn Dr Nikhil Agrawal. The agenda includes reports on completed projects like Ram Navami Seva and Ahar Sewa, along with discussions on the Joint Board Meeting, Project Saksham – Prosthetic Limbs Distribution, and the Flag Exchange & Lunch scheduled for 8th April. The club will also welcome Guest Rtn Alok Jaju from Rotary Club of Pune Mid East and celebrate March birthdays together. The meeting will conclude with fellowship and dinner.

The Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown successfully organized an Official Club Meeting with Fellowship (Picnic) on 25th January 2026 at Oxytel Resort, Lataguri. The meeting was chaired by President Rtn. Sanjay Goyal Jr., with Secretary Rtn. Dr. Nikhil Agrawal in attendance. Key discussions included reports on the District Conference at Shillong, updates on the Winter Camp food distribution at Darjeeling, and planning for the upcoming Medical Camp at Forbesganj in collaboration with the club. Members were briefed about the Republic Day Flag Hoisting Ceremony scheduled for 26th January 2026. The Rotary International theme, “Unite for Good”, was reiterated. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks by Project Chairman (Picnic) Rtn. Sandeep Gupta, followed by fellowship, picnic activities, and joyful interaction among members and families.

Sanjay Goyal Jr and commenced with the National Anthem. The minutes of the previous meeting were confirmed by the House. Members reviewed completed projects including Children’s Day Bag Distribution at Neemtala, Education Expo “Udaan” at Narayana School, and World Orange Day Rally refreshments organised with the Inner Wheel Club. Upcoming activities such as the Club Picnic and District Conference were discussed, along with an accounts update. Rtn. Sunil Agarwal was felicitated as District Chair, and new members Rtn. The club reviewed recent activities including Diwali Milan, a Quiz Competition, Blood Donation with Sharad Samman, Polio Day events, a Cricket Tournament, and Ahar Sewa. Members discussed upcoming projects such as the District Conference, Bag Distribution and Children’s Day at Kawakhali, the Education Expo with Narayana School, and the Wooden Cookstove Distribution under a District Grant. The proposal of Mr. Sanjib Agarwal as a new member was introduced positively. After miscellaneous discussions, the President gave closing remarks, and the meeting ended with dinner and fellowship.

The event featured a Nepali-themed cultural performance, the Dev Surya program, along with engaging games, an anchor-led show, and a lottery. On 21st Sept 2025, Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown hosted DG Rtn. Kameswar Singh Elangbam. The day began with project inaugurations: a water filter at RD Primary School, visit to RCC at Kawakhali, and inspection of Ahar Seva and Sharda Vidya Mandirs new water filter and chemistry lab. In the evening, DG met with the leadership team, offering guidance on leadership, service, and sustainable projects. Key discussions included expanding drinking water projects and introducing eco-friendly cookstoves. Club documents were reviewed and approved. The visit concluded with the fortnightly meeting, fellowship, and dinner. The visit was inspiring and reaffirmed the club’s commitment to "Service Above Self".

Friendship Day Celebration- Outing to MIrik

he Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown celebrated Friendship Day 2025 with an overnight trip to Mt. Queen Resort & Spa, Mirik, on 2nd–3rd August. The event, themed "Unite for Good", brought together 38 members and spouses for fellowship, games, entertainment, and relaxation. Highlights included group activities, live BBQ, music, and a scenic retreat that fostered deeper bonding. Led by Project Chairman Rtn. Sandeep Gupta and supported by a dedicated team, the celebration was well-coordinated and received excellent feedback. It truly reflected Rotarys spirit of unity and togetherness.
