World Tourism Day & Integrated Community Service for Sustainable Transformation was celebrated on 26th September 2025 by the Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown at Ban Chhaya Art Village, Dooars. With participation from 6 Rotarians, the initiative promoted sustainable tourism, supported the Save Soil campaign through a plantation drive, and empowered local youth via T-shirt and food distribution. Cultural performances showcased the villages heritage, aiming to establish it as a tourism destination. Rotarians, including Past President Rtn. Manoj Sharma Gaur, praised the villages natural beauty and potential. The project highlighted Rotary’s commitment to environmental stewardship, youth support, and holistic community development—aligning with the UNWTO theme of sustainable transformation.
