On 20th July 2025, the Rotary Club of Siliguri Midtown, in association with Vidyapati Manch under the leadership of Mrs. Babita Jha, organized Chhatra Samman at Uttar Banga Bhawan, Siliguri. The event felicitated 300 meritorious students from various schools for academic excellence and honoured the principals of 13 schools for their contribution to education. The program was graced by Shri Sudhir Kumar (Retd. IG, SSB), Present IG of SSB, dignitaries from social organisations, and community leaders. Rotarians present included Rtn Sanjay Goyal Sr, Rtn Dr. Nikhil Agrawal, Rtn Mahaveer Pareek, Rtn Rakesh Agarwal, Rtn Manoj Sharma, and Rtn Vivek Agarwal. With excellent media coverage and enthusiastic participation from students, parents, and educators, the event reflected Rotary’s commitment to youth empowerment, education, and Service Above Self.
